New York Knicks vs Atlanta Hawks Prediction 3-5-24 Picks

The Atlanta Hawks pay a visit to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night. Here’s a Hawks vs Knicks Prediction.

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have been in a real funk as they’ve lost five of their last seven games and they will be hoping to snap a two-game skid after getting routed by the Nets in a 114-102 road loss on Saturday. Saddiq Bey led the team with 23 points, Dejounte Murray added 20 points with 11 assists while De’Andre Hunter chipped in with 15 points off the bench. As a team, the Hawks shot 42 percent from the field and 11 of 34 from the 3-point line as they got off to a quick start and jumped out to an early 13-point lead, only to leak a total of 69 points in the second and third quarters combined to trail by as many as 18 points in this one.

New York Knicks

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last six games and they will be eager to build some momentum after taking down the shorthanded Cavaliers in a 107-98 road win on Sunday. Donte DiVincenzo led the team with 28 points, six rebounds and four assists, Bojan Bogdanovic added 20 points off the bench while Miles McBride chipped in with 16 points and five assists. As a team, the Knicks shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they trailed going into halftime, before they took control of the contest with a 36-point explosion in the third quarter to take a 15-point lead and escape with the much-needed road win.

Hawks vs Knicks Prediction

The Hawks are still missing Trae Young and they have Kobe Bufkin listed as questionable, while the Knicks are again without Julius Randle while Jalen Brunson is listed as questionable due to a left knee bruise. The Hawks could really do with a win to get back on track as they’ve won just two of their last seven, but they could have a good shot here if Brunson isn’t available for the Knicks. Be sure to check the lineups before tipoff, but as it stands, I am slightly more comfortable going with Murray and the Hawks to get the win as the underdogs here.
