New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers Prediction 3-10-24 Picks

The Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks meet Sunday in NBA action at Madison Square Garden. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks prediction.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers have been in a slump as they’ve lost five of their last seven games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting beaten by the Pelicans in a 103-95 loss on Friday. Tobias Harris led the team with 21 points, 10 rebounds and three assists, Kelly Oubre Jr added 20 points with seven rebounds and two blocks while Paul Reed chipped in with 17 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks off the bench. As a team, the 76ers shot just 39 percent from the field and nine of 37 from the 3-point line as they got off to a terrible start and were absolutely never in the contest after getting dominated by 63-34 in the first half.

New York Knicks

Meanwhile, the New York Knicks have been in decent shape as they’ve split their last eight games and they will be eager to maintain that momentum after blowing past the red-hot Magic in a 98-74 home win on Friday. Jalen Brunson led the team with 26 points on 11 of 19 shooting, Josh Hart added 19 points with seven rebounds and four assists while Precious Achiuwa chipped in with 15 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks. As a team, the Knicks shot 48 percent from the field and 16 of 33 from the 3-point line, but this win was all about their defense as they kept the Magic off balance the entire contest and led this one by as many as 26 points after limiting the Magic to just 15 points in the third quarter.

Philadelphia 76ers vs New York Knicks prediction

The 76ers are still banged up with Joel Embiid, Robert Covington and Tyrese Maxey all out, while the Knicks are still without Julius Randle and OG Anunoby. The 76ers have been in a major slump and it’s not surprising given the injuries to their two top scorers. The Knicks are starting to turn things around after a rough patch and they will be full of confidence after dismantling the Magic in one of their best wins of the season. It’s hard to pick games where both teams are so shorthanded, but the Knicks have the edge here and I think they can maintain their momentum with another win at home.
