Oklahoma City Thunder vs Boston Celtics Prediction 1-2-24 NBA Picks

The Boston Celtics travel to the Paycom Center to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night. Here’s a Celtics vs Thunder Prediction.

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been on a tear lately as they’ve won 11 of their last 12 games overall and they will be gunning for a seventh straight victory after making light work of the slumping Spurs in a 134-101 road win on Sunday. Jayson Tatum led the team with 25 points on 10 of 17 shooting, Jaylen Brown added 24 points on nine of 13 shooting while Derrick White chipped in with 17 points and five assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 53 percent from the field and 15 of 42 from the 3-point line as they kept the Spurs in check early to take the early lead and they just kept their foot on the gas until they led by as many as 37 points in the fourth quarter.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in great form as they’ve won seven of their last eight games overall and they will be eager to build on their current four-game win streak after blowing past the Nets in a 124-108 win on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the team with 24 points and six assists, Josh Giddey tallied 20 points with six rebounds and five assists while Chet Holmgren and Luguentz Dort scored 18 points apiece. As a team, the Thunder shot 54 percent from the field and 18 of 33 from the 3-point line as they traded with the Nets in a close contest in the first half, before they broke free with 65 points in the second half to make it look easy in the end.

Celtics vs Thunder Prediction

We’re in for a great contest here as both teams are coming into this meeting with plenty of winning momentum. The Celtics are arguably the hottest team in the league right now, they have all their key players healthy and they made it look easy in their big win on Sunday. The Thunder have been on a nice run themselves and certainly look tempting as the underdogs at home. You can make an argument for either side here, but I think the Celtics are just too strong at the moment and I think they get the job done at the short line on the road.
