Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Clippers Prediction 2-22-24 Picks

The Los Angeles Clippers travel to the Paycom Center to battle the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night. Here’s a Clippers vs Thunder Prediction.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Los Angeles Clippers have been in great form as they’ve won 11 of their last 14 games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after outlasting the Warriors in a 130-125 road win in their last game before the break. James Harden led the team with 26 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Paul George added 24 points with five assists, Norman Powell added 21 points off the bench while Russell Westbrook chipped in with 15 points and six assists. As a team, the Clippers shot 50 percent from the field and 13 of 38 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Warriors for most of the contest, falling behind by 15 points in the third quarter, before they exploded for 44 points in the fourth quarter to escape with one of their best comeback wins of the season.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder have been in fine form themselves as they’ve won five of their last seven games and they will be aiming for a third straight win after blowing past the Magic in a 127-113 road win last Tuesday. Jalen Williams led the team with 33 points on 12 of 18 shooting, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 32 points with five assists while Chet Holmgren chipped in with 13 points, nine rebounds and five blocks. As a team, the Thunder shot 54 percent from the field and 13 of 32 from the 3-point line as they hit the ground running with 60 points in the first half and just kept their foot on the gas behind big games from Williams and Gilgeous-Alexander who took turns scoring baskets all night.

Clippers vs Thunder Prediction

We are in for a good contest here with both teams coming into this meeting with plenty of winning momentum. The line has basically been set as a coin flip and you can make an argument for either side here, but the Clippers won the last meeting by 128-117 back on Jan 16 and I think they can replicate that effort if Westbrook and Powell continue to deliver off the bench. This should be a close one, but I like the Clippers as the slight underdogs in this spot.
