The Memphis Grizzlies have been doing it tough lately as they’ve lost six of their last eight games and they will be hoping to bounce back after coming up short to the Hawks in a 99-92 loss on Friday. Jaren Jackson Jr led the team with 21 points, nine rebounds and two blocks, Vince Williams added 14 points while Santi Aldama chipped in with 13 points on five of seven shooting. As a team, the Grizzlies shot just 40 percent from the field and 10 of 26 from the 3-point line as they caught fire early to take an early 13-point lead, but it didn’t last long at all as they never led again after managing just 15 points in the second quarter. Lamar Stevens shot just three of 12 from the field while Jordan Goodwin scored just five points on two of eight shooting.

As a team, the Thunder shot 47 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their offense and scored just 20 points in the second quarter to trail by 14 points, before they flipped the script with a 30-16 third quarter to earn the comeback win and improve to an impressive 25-6 at home this season.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Oklahoma City Thunder prediction

The Grizzlies are still missing a host of players including Ja Morant, Brandon Clarke, Jordan Goodwin and Derrick Rose, while the Thunder don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Grizzlies are so decimated by injuries that you don’t even know who who is going to be in the starting lineup, so it’s no surprise that they’ve been struggling so much, while the Thunder have been fully healthy and are in season-best form at the moment. Surely, the Thunder win this one and win it comfortably, especially at home where’ they’ve been so solid all season, but this just seems too hefty. Give me the Thunder to get the win, but I think the pesky Grizzlies hang around long enough to get the backdoor cover.
