Orlando Magic vs Portland Trail Blazers Prediction 4-1-24 Picks

The Portland Trail Blazers and Orlando Magic meet Monday in NBA action at the Kia Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Trail Blazers vs Magic prediction.

Portland Trail Blazers

The Portland Trail Blazers have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 13 of their last 15 games overall and they will be hoping to avoid a 10th straight defeat after getting embarrassed by the Heat in a 142-82 road defeat on Friday. Scoot Henderson led the team in scoring with 20 points and six assists, Deandre Ayton added 18 points while Dalano Banton chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench. As a team, the Trail Blazers shot just 40 percent from the field and five of 30 from the 3-point line as they struggled to keep pace with the Heat from the start and were never really in the contest after trailing behind by 74-40 going into halftime. The Trail Blazers will meet the Hornets after this one.

Orlando Magic

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in great shape as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be feeling pretty good after arresting a three-game skid with a 118-88 home win over the Grizzlies on Saturday. Wendell Carter Jr, Jalen Suggs and Cole Anthony each scored 15 points while Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner each scored 13 points. As a team, the Magic shot 48 percent from the field and an efficient 22 of 44 from the 3-point line as they took control right away and dominated the first quarter by 33-13 and they didn’t take their foot off the gas until they led by as many as 43 points.

Trail Blazers vs Magic prediction

The Trail Blazers are still shorthanded with Malcolm Brogdon, Jerami Grant and Anfernee Simons to name a few, while the Magic don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Trail Blazers are obviously one of the worst teams in the league right now, as they have just been hammered by injuries. The Magic have been on a great run, and they have all their players healthy for this one. The line is massive for this one, but the Trail Blazers have been struggling to just stay competitive on a nightly basis. I don’t think that changes now that they are travelling to take on the Magic in this one.
