Orlando Magic vs Toronto Raptors Prediction 3-17-24 Picks

The Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic meet Sunday in NBA action at the Kia Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Toronto Raptors vs Orlando Magic prediction.

Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors have been in terrible form as they’ve lost eight of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a six-game slide after getting beaten by the Magic in a 113-103 loss on Friday. Gary Trent Jr led the team with 31 points on 10 of 17 shooting, Jordan Nwora added 14 points off the bench while Immanuel Quickley chipped in with 10 points and 10 assists. As a team, the Raptors shot 46 percent from the field and 14 of 34 from the 3-point line as they struggled for most of the contest, falling behind by as many as 19 points in the third quarter before they finished with a flurry of points to keep the final scores respectable in the end. The Raptors will face the Kings, Thunder, and Wizards after this game.

Orlando Magic

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic have been in great shape as they’ve won 10 of their last 13 games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight win after beating the Raptors in a 113-103 road win on Friday. Franz Wagner led the team with 19 points, seven rebounds and four assists on six of nine shooting, Paolo Banchero added 17 points with nine rebounds and eight assists while Jalen Suggs chipped in with 16 points on six of nine shooting. As a team, the Magic shot 50 percent from the field and 14 of 31 from the 3-point line as they shook off a slow start and exploded for 34 points in the third quarter to take a 19-point lead which was more than enough to hold off a late rally from the Raptors in the fourth quarter.

Toronto Raptors vs Orlando Magic prediction

The Raptors are still missing a few players with Scottie Barnes, Chris Boucher, RJ Barrett and Jakob Poeltl all ruled out, while the Magic don’t have a single player listed on the injury report which is such a luxury in the league these days. The Raptors have easily been one of the most disappointing teams all season, they’ve lost eight of their last nine games and I don’t see them getting their revenge against this Magic squad who made it look easy on Friday. The line is a bit hefty, but I’m sticking with the Magic to stay hot with another win and cover at home.
