The Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers duke it out at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday night.

The Boston Celtics have been in great shape as they’ve won seven of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight victory after sneaking past the Jazz in a 122-114 win on Friday. Jayson Tatum led the way with 39 points, 11 rebounds and three assists, Derrick White added 17 points while Malcolm Brogdon provided the spark off the bench with 19 points and seven assists. As a team, the Celtics shot 43 percent from the field and 17 of 51 from the 3-point line as they exploded for 36 points in the third quarter to build a 17-point lead thanks to a scoring barrage from Tatum, before they held off a late charge from the Jazz to win by single digits.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers have been in a rut as they’ve lost four of their last six games overall and they will be hoping for a better performance after getting routed by the Bucks in a 117-104 road loss on Sunday. Joel Embiid led the way with 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Tyrese Maxey led all scorers with 29 points while James Harden chipped in with 11 points and six assists. As a team, the 76ers shot 46 percent from the field and 12 of 36 from the 3-point line as they struggled to contain the Bucks and were always fighting an uphill battle after allowing 41 points in the first quarter.

Looking at the betting trends, the Celtics are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 33-16-2 ATS in their last 51 games against a team above .600. The 76ers are 24-10 ATS in their last 34 home games, 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games overall.

Head to head, the over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Philadelphia and the Celtics are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall.

The Celtics are keeping an eye on Jaylen Brown who is questionable here, while the 76ers don’t have a single player listed on the injury report. The Celtics come into this meeting as the team in hotter form and they should be well-rested as they haven’t played since Friday, while the 76ers could really do with a win to snap them out of the funk they find themselves in. This one could go down to the wire, but the Celtics are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall and I think that trend continues here as the Celtics get the in behind another big game from Tatum.
