Phoenix Suns vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction 12-29-23 NBA Picks

The Charlotte Hornets and the Phoenix Suns duke it out at the Footprint Center on Friday night. Here’s a Hornets vs Suns Prediction.

Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets have been in a major slump lately as they’ve lost 13 of their last 15 games overall and they will be hoping to put an end to a nine-game slide after getting routed by the Lakers in a 133-112 road defeat last night. Miles Bridges led the team in scoring with 20 points and five assists, Terry Rozier added 18 points with eight assists while Brandon Miller chipped in with 17 points. As a team, the Hornets shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 33 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Lakers in a closely contested first half, before they got completely blown out of the water by 41-23 in the third quarter to lose big in the end.

Phoenix Suns

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been doing it tough lately as they’ve lost seven of their last 10 games, but they will be feeling a little better after snapping a three-game slide with a 129-113 road win over the Rockets on Wednesday. Kevin Durant led the team with a triple-double of 27 points with 10 rebounds and 16 assists, Eric Gordon added 27 points on 10 of 15 shooting while Devin Booker chipped in with 20 points and seven assists. As a team, the Suns shot 57 percent from the field and 14 of 33 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Rockets early and never looked in doubt after exploding for 43 points in the second quarter to lead by as many as 21 points.

Hornets vs Suns Prediction

The Hornets have been one of the coldest teams in the league, they weren’t able to compete with the Lakers despite getting off to a good start and they’re going to have trouble against this Suns team who looked great in their win over the Rockets on Wednesday. The Hornets are also playing their second game of a back to back set, so I’m going with the Suns who looked great on Wednesday.
