The Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns meet Wednesday in NBA action at the Footprint Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Cavaliers vs Suns prediction.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers have been in decent shape as they’ve won three of their past five games and they will be hoping to stay hot after blowing past the lowly Jazz in a 129-113 road win last night. Caris LeVert led the team with 26 points, six rebounds and five assists, Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen scored 21 points each while Sam Merrill chipped in with 18 points and five assists off the bench. As a team, the Cavaliers shot 54 percent from the field and 16 of 39 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 40 points in the first quarter and they just kept their foot on the gas until the margin ballooned out to 24 points at one stage. The Cavs will play against the Lakers after this game.

Phoenix Suns

Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their last seven games overall and they will be eager to keep it going after routing the Pelicans in a 124-111 road win on Monday. Devin Booker led the team with 52 points and nine assists on 19 of 28 shooting, Kevin Durant added 20 points while Jusuf Nurkic chipped in with 19 points, 19 rebounds and four assists. As a team, the Suns shot 49 percent from the field and 18 of 47 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 46 points in the first quarter to build an early 27-point lead which allowed them to cruise in the second half almost completely unchallenged.

Cavaliers vs Suns prediction

The Cavaliers are still missing a few players with Isaac Okoro, Ty Jerome and Donovan Mitchell all out, while the Suns are missing Damion Lee, and they have Grayson Allen listed as questionable. The Cavaliers are starting to find a bit of form, but they are still severely shorthanded, and I think they will struggle against this Suns squad, who are heating up at the right time.
