Sacramento Kings vs Charlotte Hornets Prediction 1-2-24 NBA Picks

The Charlotte Hornets and the Sacramento Kings duke it out at the Golden 1 Center on Tuesday night. Here’s a Hornets vs Kings Prediction.

Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets have been in horrible form as they’ve lost 13 of their last 14 games overall and they will be hoping to put an end to an 11-game losing streak after getting thrashed by the Nuggets in a 111-93 road defeat last night. Miles Bridges led the team with 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists on 10 of 14 shooting, Brandon Miller and Nick Richards scored 15 points each while Ish Smith chipped in with 10 points. As a team, the Hornets shot just 41 percent from the field and 10 of 26 from the 3-point line as they kept pace with the Nuggets in the first half, before they got completely blown off the floor by 40-17 in the third quarter to suffer yet another embarrassing loss. Cody Martin had a rough game as he scored just two points on zero of six shooting off the bench.

Sacramento Kings

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent shape lately as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight win after making light work of the Grizzlies in a 123-92 road win on Sunday. Malik Monk led the team with 27 points and five assists on 10 of 13 shooting off the bench, De’Aaron Fox added 24 points while Domantas Sabonis racked up a triple-double of 13 points with 21 rebounds and 12 assists. AS a team, the Kings shot 51 percent from the field and 16 of 33 from the 3-point line as they jumped all over the Grizzlies from the start and never looked in doubt after pouring in 70 points in the first half.

Hornets vs Kings Prediction

The line is very hefty for this one, but you have to say that it’s justified given that the Hornets are on the coldest teams in the league, they just got blown out by the Nuggets and are now playing this game on zero days’ rest. The Kings are starting to heat up again, they looked dominant in their big win over the Grizzlies and I don’t think they’ll have too much trouble in this one. Give me the Kings to storm out to an early lead and make it look easy at home.
