The Dallas Mavericks invade the Golden 1 Center to do battle with the Sacramento Kings once again on Saturday night.

The Dallas Mavericks have been in great form as they’ve won five of their last six games overall and they will be gunning for a fourth straight victory after beating the Kings in a 122-114 road win last night. Kyrie Irving led the team with 25 points and 10 assists, Josh Green added 17 points with seven assists while Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in with 15 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Mavericks shot 48 percent from the field and 18 of 43 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates with 45 points in the first quarter to open a 24-point lead and they were good enough to hold the double-digit lead until late in the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Sacramento Kings have been in decent form as they’ve won four of their last seven games, but they will be hoping for a better start after getting run over by the Mavericks last night. De’Aaron Fox led the team with 33 points, six rebounds and five assists on 10 of 16 shooting, Domantas Sabonis added 18 points with 11 rebounds and seven assists while Keegan Murray chipped in with 16 points. As a team, the Kings shot 54 percent from the field and nine of 27 from the 3-point line, but the Kings were always fighting an uphill battle in this one after allowing the Mavericks to get off to a flyer in the first quarter.

Looking at the betting trends, the Mavericks are 5-0 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record, 4-1 ATS in their last five road games and 2-6-1 ATS in their last nine games playing on zero days rest. The Kings are 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games against a team with a winning record and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six home games against a team with a losing road record.

Head to head, the under is 7-1 in the last eight meetings overall, the Mavericks are 1-4-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Sacramento and the Mavericks are 8-23-1 ATS in the last 32 meetings overall.

The Mavericks will be shorthanded once again as Luka Doncic, Davis Bertans and Maxi Kleber are all out, while the Kings are keeping an eye on Malik Monk who is listed as day to day at the moment. The Mavericks have been in pretty good form despite the absence of Doncic and they certainly looked good in last night’s win over the Kings which was set up by their hot shooting in the first quarter. The Mavericks won’t have it all their way again as I’m sure the Kings will come out swinging in this one, but I’m expecting a similar result with the Mavericks escaping with the win in the end.
