San Antonio Spurs vs Minnesota Timberwolves Prediction 10/31/26 NBA Picks Today

The Minnesota Timberwolves invade the Frost Bank Center to take on the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

Minnesota Timberwolves Betting Preview

The Minnesota Timberwolves have been in decent shape despite the injury to Anthony Edwards as they’ve won four of their first six games and they will be eager to maintain that momentum after blowing past the Clippers in a 127-101 home win last night. LaMelo Ball led the team with 24 points and seven assists, Jaden McDaniels added 23 points with six rebounds and even assists while Bones Hyland chipped in with 19 points and eight assists off the bench. As a team, the Timberwolves shot 53 percent from the field and 18 of 43 from the 3-point line as they set the tone with 69 points in the first half to take a 13-point lead into halftime, before they flexed their defense and held the Clippers to just 20 points in the fourth quarter to make it a blowout.

San Antonio Spurs Betting Preview

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs look to have moved on from their slow start to the season as they are now on a three-game win streak after sneaking past the Jazz in a 117-111 overtime road win on Wednesday. Victor Wembenyama led the team with 36 points, 14 rebounds and five assists on 14 of 25 shooting, Devin Vassell added 21 points while De’Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle each scored 14 points. As a team, the Spurs shot 44 percent from the field and 12 of 38 from the 3-point line but this win was all about their defense as they struggled on offense and trailed for most of the contest before they finally pulled away in the overtime period where they restricted the Jazz to just six points.

The Timberwolves have ruled out Donte DiVincenzo and Anthony Edwards again, while the Spurs are still missing Tobias Harris who is dealing with a calf strain. It’s hard to imagine the Timberwolves pulling off the upset without their leading scorer in the lineup, but the line still seems too high for the Spurs who were lucky to get past the Jazz in their last outing. The Timberwolves are also playing their second game of a back to back set, but I like them to hang tough and keep this one to single digits in the end.
