San Antonio Spurs vs Phoenix Suns Prediction 3-23-24 Picks

The Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs meet Saturday in NBA action at the Frost Bank Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Suns vs Spurs prediction.

Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns have been in fine form as they’ve won six of their last nine games overall and they will be aiming for a third straight win after routing the Hawks in a 128-115 home win on Thursday. Devin Booker led the team with 30 points on 10 of 15 shooting, Eric Gordon added 21 points with five assists on eight of 11 shooting off the bench while Kevin Durant chipped in with 19 points and three blocks. As a team, the Suns shot 55 percent from the field and a sizzling 22 of 41 from the 3-point line as they worked their way back from an early 14-point deficit before they finally pulled away in the fourth quarter where they held the Hawks to just 22 points to win comfortably in the end.

San Antonio Spurs

Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs have been in poor form as they’ve lost seven of their last nine games overall and they will be hoping for a better performance after coming up just short to the Grizzlies in a 99-97 home loss last night. Victor Wembenyama led the team with 31 points, 16 rebounds and five assists and three blocks, Devin Vassell added 27 points on 10 of 17 shooting while Tre Jones chipped in with 16 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Spurs shot just 38 percent from the field and seven of 38 from the 3-point line as they stormed out of the gates to an early 17-point lead, but they couldn’t hold off the Grizzlies and eventually lost in the final second of the game where the Grizzlies’ Jaren Jackson Jr drained the game-winner to snatch the game from the Spurs. The Spurs will face the Jazz after this back-to-back set against the Suns.

Suns vs Spurs prediction

The Suns are still shorthanded with Jusuf Nurkic still out and they are keeping an eye on Josh Okogie who is questionable here, while the Spurs are coming into this one with the same squad minus Charles Bassey once again. The Suns come into this one as the team in better form and they really shouldn’t have too much trouble running past this lowly Spurs team who are playing their second game of a back to back set. The line is hefty but I think the Suns get it done with ease in this spot.
