Utah Jazz vs Atlanta Hawks Prediction 3-15-24 Picks

The Atlanta Hawks and Utah Jazz meet Friday in NBA action at the Delta Center. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best bets for this game. Here’s a Atlanta Hawks vs Utah Jazz prediction.

Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks have been in decent shape as they’ve won five of their last nine games overall, but they are hoping to avoid a third straight loss in this spot after getting beaten by the Trail Blazers in a 106-102 road loss on Wednesday. Dejounte Murray led the team with 40 points on 15 of 29 shooting, Clint Capela added 13 points with 14 rebounds on six of nine shooting while De’Andre Hunter chipped in with 11 points off the bench but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Hawks shot 43 percent from the field and 14 of 39 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in great shape when they restricted the Trail Blazers to just 17 points in the first quarter to take an early 16-point lead, but they let all their hard work go to waste in the third quarter where they leaked 35 points to trail the rest of the way. The Hawks will take on the Clippers after this one.

Utah Jazz

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been in terrible form as they’ve lost 11 of their last 13 games overall and they will be hoping to arrest a three-game skid after getting routed by the Celtics in a 123-107 loss on Tuesday. Keyonte George led the team with 26 points and six assists on nine of 17 shooting, Jordan Clarkson added 21 points off the bench while Collin Sexton chipped in with 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. As a team, the Jazz shot 47 percent from the field and 15 of 32 from the 3-point line as they showed plenty of fight to cut an early 22-point deficit to just two points in the third quarter, only to go ice-cold when it mattered most and scoring just 16 points in the fourth quarter to allow the Celtics to run away with it in the end.

Atlanta Hawks vs Utah Jazz prediction

The Hawks are still missing Jalen Johnson, Trae Young and Saddiq Bey to name a few, while the Jazz are still without Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen. The Hawks are coming into this one fresh off a disappointing loss to the Trail Blazers, but they were on a nice run before that defeat, while the Jazz are still mired in their worst slump of the season as they’ve won just two of their past 13 games and are still missing two of their best players. This should be a close contest, but it’s hard to go past the Hawks in this spot as they should be good enough to take advantage of this slumping Jazz squad.
