The Washington Wizards travel to the Vivint Arena to take on the Utah Jazz on Monday night.

The Washington Wizards have been in a rut lately as they’ve lost five of their last seven games and they will be eager to bounce back after getting routed by the Suns in a 134-106 road loss on Saturday. Raul Neto led the team in scoring with 24 points on nine of 17 shooting, Russell Westbrook racked up a triple-double of 17 points with 11 rebounds and 14 assists while Ish Smith chipped in with 12 points, but no other player finished in double figures in scoring. As a team, the Wizards shot just 46 percent from the field and nine of 25 from the 3-point line as they hung in a tightly contested first half, before getting overwhelmed in the second half where the Suns poured in 77 points to make it a blowout in the end.

Meanwhile, the Utah Jazz have been on a tear for a while now as they’ve won 11 of their past 13 games and they will be looking to stay hot after making light work of the Kings in a 128-112 home win on Saturday. Donovan Mitchell led the team with 42 points on 12 of 31 shooting, Mike Conley added 26 points while Joe Ingles drained five 3-pointers to finish with 20 points and six assists off the bench. As a team, the Jazz shot 45 percent from the field and 18 of 50 from the 3-point line as they struggled to find their footing and trailed by six points at halftime, before taking over with 69 points in the second half to make it look easy in the end.

Looking at the betting trends, the Wizards are 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team with a winning record and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games playing on one days’ rest. The Jazz are 20-6 ATS in their last 26 home games, 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games against a team with a losing record and 19-8 ATS in their last 27 games following a win of more than 10 points.

Head to head, the over is 4-0 in the last four meetings overall, the Wizards are 2-7-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and the Wizards are 1-3-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Utah.

The Wizards must be low on confidence as they’ve lost five of seven and are coming into this one fresh off a 28-point blowout loss to the Suns, while the Jazz are coming into this game with plenty of momentum as they’ve won 11 of their past 13 games. Bradley Beal is expected to return for this one, but the Wizards are only 2-7-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and I think the Jazz will be too good in this one.
