The Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns meet in week three of the NFL preseason as the starters get their final prep.
The Indianapolis Colts simply looked like a team who wanted it more when they took on the Giants in week two and they dominated play from start to finish. Andrew Luck now has a year under his belt and he had two touchdown passes last week. While Donald Brown has gotten his chances over the years he looked best last Sunday but Ahamd Bradshaw may be the back for Indy. Reggie Wayne and T.Y. Hilton were both on the receiving end of Luck’s TD’s and Darius Heyward-Bey had four catches as I believe he is going tot be one of the most improved players in the NFL this season The Colts get both of their tight ends back this week and look for Luck and Colby Fleener to continue their chemistry. Defensively the Colts looked strong as well keeping Eli manning and the Giants out of the endzone. Kavell Conner and Ricky Jean-Francois stood out from a group of standouts.

Cleveland Browns Head Coach Rob Chudzinski put a swift end to the QB controversy in the Browns’ camp as he announced on Tuesday that Brandon Weeden was the starter and Jason Campbell would be his backup. Both played well in week 2 with Weeden going 8 of 12 with two TD’s and Campbell going 12 of 14 and a touchdown. The Browns suffered a loss as Dion Lewis broke his leg so the backup role to Trent Richardson, who figures to be an every down back, could fall to Brandon Jackson. Jordan Cameron ad two touchdown catches in week two and Josh Gordon had three catches for 72 yards but the Browns could still use some help among that group. D’Qwell Jackson is already getting it into gear racking up the tackle numbers and Quentin Groves and Phillip Taylor should also help anchor the defense. The Browns clearly have some work to do.
If preseason comes down to who really cares much then this one is a toss up, if it comes down to who has the better talent and who is the better team then it is the Colts. Throw in the home field and Indy is playable here.
