The Dallas Cowboys head to Arrowhead Stadium to take on the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Dallas looks like a team that will be exciting to watch but the question will be whether that's because they are winning or just making things close. The Cowboys did both in their opener against the hated Giants with a 35-31 victory that wasn't decided until the last drive when Eli Manning was picked off. The oft injured Tony Romo (36-49/263) threw for a pair of touchdowns to Jason Witten and spread the ball around eight receivers with Miles Austin snaring a team high ten receptions. The ground game was Demarco Murray who totaled 86 yards on 20 totes with Dallas totaling a pedestrian 332 yards while the Giants amassed 478. The difference was turnovers with New York losing three fumbles while Manning tossed three picks with a fumble returned 27 yards for a Dallas TD.

As an Eagles fan I was almost as excited to watch the Eagles opener as I was eager to see the Andy Reid era begin in Kansas City and by all accounts things went off without a hitch. The Chiefs had the perfect opponent to open with in Jacksonville and dominated both sides of the football in a 28-2 victory. Things didn't begin well when the Jaguars blocked a punt out of the end zone for a 2-0 lead but that was about the only positive the Jaguars would experience on the day. The Chiefs defense was the story of the day with only 178 yards allowed and two interceptions including a ten yard pick six in the 4th. The KC attack was rather plain with 291 total yards with Alex Smith throwing for 173 yards and two scores with Jamell Charles rambling for 77 yards on 16 carries.
Dallas certainly brings some offensive explosiveness to this game so it will be the Kansas City defense that has to rise to the occasion. I always expect the unexpected anytime the Cowboys are involved but I'll side with the KC defense here...
