Trent Richardson, RB, Indianapolis Colts: The Colts’ backfield situation has certainly improved since the arrival of Richardson--on paper, that is. The team has yet to reap the full benefits of the talented second-year RB, as he’s got just 95 yards on 33 carries (but does have a pair of touchdowns) in two games since his arrival.
Richardson will face a difficult test against Seattle today, but will likely receive a ton of work with fellow RB Ahmad Bradshaw ailing due to a neck injury. He’s been ruled out for the game and may undergo season-ending surgery if he and the doctors decide to pursue that route of recovery.

Jets Injury Report: Heading into tomorrow’s Week 5 edition of “Monday Night Football,” the Jets have several key injury issues we’ll have to keep an eye on. Regardless of who’s able to actually play, the team will be dealing with a myriad of ailments all across their roster that will definitely affect their play on the field.
Most notably, Santonio Holmes has been ruled out. Those listed as questionable and in danger of being kept off the field are Stephen Hill, Chris Ivory, Mike Goodson, Dee Milliner and Kellen Winslow.
Probable listings for the Jets include Quinton Coples, Antonio Cromartie, Kendrick Ellis, Sheldon Richardson and Geno Smith.

Falcons Injury Report: The Falcons are feeling the pinch of the injury bug as well, and they’ll be dealing with some major ailments before tomorrow’s game. Although they’re not as bad off as the Jets quantity-wise, there are still some notable names on the list.
Steven Jackson has been ruled out with his nagging hamstring. Notable questionable designations include Julio Jones, Roddy White and Asante Samuel. Jonathan Babineaux and Drew Davis are both listed as probable.
