The Tennessee Titans will look to get back in the win column as they head to the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks who suffered their first loss of the season last week in Indianapolis.
The Titans have quietly pieced together a respectable season after virtually being given no shot to compete in the AFC South due to everyone’s love affair with the Houston Texans,. But through five weeks, they’re sitting at 3-2 and in second place in the division, setting up what should be a very exciting completion to the season. However, the Titans will be without starting quarterback Jake Locker for another few weeks and while the former Washington Huskies pivot isn’t among the league’s elite, he is definitely talented and the best signal caller on the Titans roster. Ryan Fitzpatrick has been serving as the starter in the interim, but it is evident that the offense is lagging without their number one guy and as such the team’s potential is starting to sputter. Tennessee did have a nice showing last week against the undefeated Chiefs, but nonetheless they face a stiff task ahead of them with Seattle on tap in one of the toughest stadiums in the league to play in.

Seattle is clearly one of the best teams in the league, but even the top tier teams have to lose some time and last week was a perfect opportunity to take advantage of Seattle’s road woes as they’re clearly a different team when playing at Century Link. The Seahawks had their opportunities in Indy, but ultimately the Colts came away with a statement win and left the Hawks with a sour taste in their mouth heading home. Russell Wilson is certainly asserting himself as one of the best young talents in the game and the added dimension he brings to the field with his ability to scramble is very exciting to watch. The Seahawks are going to be a very tough team to play against come playoff time and after taking a loss, I fully expect the Seahawks defense to be back in full force here against an undermanned Titans team. Ryan Fitzpatrick is serviceable and while the Chiefs defense is talented, I think the Seahawks are a step up, especially playing at home. I love Seattle in this one and I think they cruise easily by double digits.
