The Buffalo Bills head to Sun Life Stadium to take the field with the Miami Dolphins.
Buffalo is already in a tough spot in the AFC East standings at 2-4 and three games behind first place New England so another loss could be their death blow as far as competing in the division. The problem with the Bills is not enough scoring and too much scoring by opponents. Injuries have been plentiful which have obviously hurt but that didn't stop the Bills from giving Cincinnati a run for their money before falling 27-24 in overtime. The reasons the Bills lost were Andy Dalton's 337 passing yards and three touchdowns and the Bengals 43 minutes in possession. Combined with Thaddeus Lewis (19-32/216) misfiring on some throws and some inconsistency overall and it's surprising this went to the extra session.

Miami stands at 3-2 following a 26-23 loss to Baltimore heading in to their bye which gave them extra time to think about what could have easily been a 4-1 start and a virtual tie for first with the Patriots. The Dolphins held the Ravens to a pair of first half field goals before the visitors roared back with 20 points over the final 30 minutes including a game winning field goal with less then two minutes remaining. This boiled down to the Fish and their inability to run the ball at all with a mere 22 yards on eleven carries which translated in to less then 24 minutes in TOP. Ryan Tannehill had a few nice gains through the air but drops and misfires saw him complete 21-40 for 307 yards with Mike Wallace, Brandon Gibson and Charles Clay recording 45+ yard catches. The defense posted a pick six so the struggling offense scored 16 points.
Neither team is great defensively and the spread is too big for my liking because I favor Miami. With a week to prepare I'm hoping the offense has worked out the kinks and we see some scoring which has me looking at the over for now...
