The Line: Chicago Bears PK -- Over/Under: 52.5 See the Latest Odds

The Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions face off on Sunday at Soldier Field on Sunday in a NFL battle of teams tied atop the NFC North.

The Chicago Bears are coming off of a monster win on Monday Night as they knocked off the Green Bay Packers to force a three way tie in the NFC North. The Bears are second in the NFL in average points scored with 30 and they average 377 yards per game and they are plus eight in turnover ratio. Jay Cutler could be ready to return this week but if he isn’t 100 percent the Bears will stick with Josh McCown who has been solid in relief. Matt Forte is having another big year rushing for 658 yards and seven touchdowns and he has 40 receptions out of the backfield. Brandon Marshall has 53 receptions with six touchdowns, Alshon Jeffery has 38 catches and three touchdowns, and Martellus Bennett has 36 catches and four touchdowns. Defensively the Bears are allowing 28.2 points and 381.1 yards per game with 11 interceptions, 14 sacks, and 15 fumble recoveries. Major Wright has 61 tackles, James Anderson has 47 tackles, and Charles Tillman has three interceptions and three fumble recoveries. The Bears have become an offensive team under first year Head Coach Mark Trestman and with a win here it could be the answer they have ben looking for.

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions - 11/10/13

Rick Osentoski-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions are coming off of a bye week after going 2-2 in their last four games but hitting the halfway point of the season locked in the three-way battle for first place in the NFC North. The Detroit offense is averaging 27.1 points and 416 yards per game and they are plus one in turnover ratio. QB Matthew Stafford has completed 62.4 percent of his passes for 2,617 yards for 16 touchdowns and six interceptions while being sacked 10 times. Reggie Bush has injected life into the Lions rushing attack gaining 518 yards with two touchdowns and catching 31 passes and Joique Bell has rushed for 236 yards with four touchdowns and he has caught 27 passes. Calvin Johnson has 47 receptions and seven touchdowns and Brandon Pettigrew has 26 catches. Defensively the Lions are allowing 24.6 points and 381 yards with 10 interceptions, 13 sacks, and six fumble recoveries. Stephen Tulloch has 65 tackles, DeAndre Levy has 63 tackles and four interceptions, and Chris Houston has 32 tackles. The lions should be well rested and ready for this gigantic game.

Chicago is 1-4 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 1-6 against the spread against the NFC, and 0-5-1 against the spread in their last six home games. Detroit is 7-15-1 against the spread against a team with a winning record, 8-19 against the spread against the NFC, and 2-5 against the spread in their last seven road games. Detroit has covered the point spread in six of the last seven meetings of these two teams.

This game is a pick and it should be but I will go with the home team in what should be a shootout.
