Lucas Oil Stadium and the Indianapolis Colts host the St Louis Rams in week ten action.
St Louis has dropped back to back contests by a combined 12 points which is the difference between challenging in the NFC West and last place. The Rams gave Tennessee a run for their money before dropping a 28-21 decision with the Titans scoring the game winner with just under three minutes remaining with the Rams unable to answer. The question coming in was what would Kellen Clemens bring to the table with Sam Bradford out. The answer wasn't all that bad with Clemens completing 20-35 for 210 yards with a ten yard scoring toss to Jared Cook. The rushing attack chipped in to help out their back up signal caller with Zac Stacy doing the heavy lifting with 127 yards on 27 carries with a pair of touchdowns. The defense allowed 363 yards and picked off two passes but couldn't get the critical stops.

Going by the numbers Indianapolis has the ability to win by out scoring the opposition or by shutting them down. The Colts needed a little bit of everything as they rallied past Houston 27-24 for their fifth win in six contests. Indy trailed 21-3 heading in to the break before coming to life on both sides of the ball over the final 30 minutes. Andrew Luck struggled mightily to hook up with his receiving corps with an 18-40 performance but he did connect for three touchdowns and did not throw an interception. T.Y. Hilton was on the receving end of all three scores and finished with seven catches for 121 yards including a 58 yarder. Donald Brown led the ground game with 49 yards on six tries but the Colts abandoned the rush with just 14 carries because they were playing catch up. The defense was lit up for 350 yards by Case Keenum but benefitted from three missed field goals.
The Rams have shown some backbone the past two weeks although I would be wary if I were the Rams DC because Luck having back to back struggles is not likely. For now I'll side with the points with a St Louis club that has been playing them close...
