Today’s the day. Week 12 in the NFL will get started within a matter of hours, and the anticipation is running high. Before we settle in and get ready for kickoff, let’s take a look at some of the noteworthy storylines and situations developing around the league. Here’s the latest.

What to Watch Tonight: The Cadillac of today’s NFL schedule will feature the Denver Broncos (9-1) heading to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots (7-3) in a primetime clash that should be very entertaining. (8:30 PM ET on NBC.)
The Broncos are coming off a very important win against the Chiefs in Week 11, while the Patriots fell to the Panthers in a controversial finish during their last outing. The Patriots have had the edge in recent matchups between these two teams, including a 31-21 victory over the Broncos on October 9 of last year. Peyton Manning outplayed Tom Brady in that one, tossing for 337 yards and three touchdowns to Brady’s 223 yards and one passing score, but the Pats came away with the victory.
The lineups look much different this season, however, and it’s anyone’s guess how the game will play out.
