The Tennessee Titans head to Indy on Sunday to square off against the struggling Indianapolis Colts.
The Indianapolis Colts started off the season red hot, but injuries have really plagued this team, and now the Colts are struggling to find their way into the win column one again. Indy is just 3-2 in their last five games, with their most recent outing resulting in a blowout loss to the Cardinals in Arizona, 40-11. The Colts managed just 239 yards of total offense against the Cardinals, and Luck is finding that he has no one to throw to reliably, now that Wayne is gone for the season. Luck finished the day completing just 20/39 for 163 yards and one score and one pick, giving him a QBR on the day of just 21.9. The Colts aren’t having much success on the ground, and with the defense struggling, opponents are getting up on the Colts, forcing them to become one dimensional.

The Titans are sitting at 5-6 currently, and believe it or not, Tennessee is still in the playoff hunt in the AFC. The Titans dropped two straight, but Tennessee rebounded nicely this past weekend, defeating the Raiders in Oakland, 23-19. The Titans are playing well defensively this season, especially against the pass, as Tennessee is allowing just 217.4 yards per game through the air this year. The Titans offense has been sluggish at times, but against the Raiders defense, the Titans managed 426 yards of total offense on the day, averaging an impressive 5.8 yards per play. The Titans are far from world beaters, but Chris Johnson is finding his rhythm out of the backfield again, and with Locker out, Ryan Fitzpatrick is showing that he is a capable back-up option.
The Tennessee Titans are 6-3 against the spread this season, and when the Titans are an underdog, Tennessee is 3-2 ATS on the year. Also, when the Titans are on the road this year, Tennessee is a perfect 5-0 against the spread.
The Indianapolis Colts are 5-5 against the spread this season, and as a favorite, the Colts are 2-3 against the spread this season. At home, the Colts are just 2-3 against the spread however.
I have to take the Titans in this spot. Tennessee is playing the better ball right now, and even though Luck plays very well at home, the Colts have been battered with injuries and getting more than a field goal with this Titans team looks like the side to be on.
