The Cincinnati Bengals host the New York Jets at Paul Brown Stadium in week two of the preseason.
The Jets outlasted the Colts 13-10 in week one in more of a typical preseason game where points are difficult to comeby with most defenses ahead of the offense. New York had a slight edge in yardage 235-222 with most of the damage coming in a first half that was tied 10-10. Geno Smith and Michael Vick only threw six passes each with Matt Smith going 13-18 for 96 yards in a very short air attack. The defense obviously won this with a strong second half although who was or wasn't on the field probably had something to do with the outcome.

Cincinnati was outscored 41-39 at Kansas City in week one with a lot of yards and mistakes stealing the headlines. Yes the Bengals racked up 376 yards but Jason Campbell threw a pair of pick six's and the Chiefs returned a punt 80 yards for a touchdown as the Bangals literally shot themselves in the foot several times. Campbell and Matt Scott tossed for a pair of scores each but Scott was the star under center on a 7-11/66 effort that saw him run for another 68 yards. Despite what the scoreboard says, the Cincinnati defense wasn't bad with 304 yards allowed and three forced turnovers including a pick six of their own and six sacks.
Cincy might have been involved in one of the more exciting games of week one but it was one of the more mistake filled contests as well while the Jets was 60 minutes of grind it out football. I'll try to come up with some logic when I see a line...
