The Philadelphia Eagles look for their first win when the Pittsburgh Steelers pay a visit.
The Pittsburgh Steelers evened their record at 1-1 with a 19-16 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Shaun Suisham nailed a 20 yard field goal as time expired with the Pitt starters playing well while the Bills were done in by four turnovers. Ben Roethlisberger threw for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns to stake the Steelers to a 13-3 lead but Landry Jones and Bruce Gradkowski combined for 100 yards and tossed an interception each. The Steelers rushing game was a non factor with just 35 yards and the defense allowed 358 yards so it wasn't a perfect effort.

Two things stick out in the Philadelphia Eagles 0-2 start to the preseason; the offense can score and opponents can score more. A 42-35 defeat at New England saw both teams roll up and down the field with the Patriots racking up a 476-413 edge in total yards. The bad news was the Philly defense didn't get many stops while the offense gave the ball away four times. Matt Barkley and Mark Sanchez combined for 249 yards with three touchdowns and a pick apiece while Nick Foles was error free with 81 yards and a score. Jordan Matthews rebounded from a poor opener to record nine catches for 104 yards but again the story for the second week was mistakes and poor defense.
No line out yet but looking ahead I see a struggling Pittsburgh offense facing a defense that is just awful. I need to see a spread but neither team has impressed me enough to rush out and bet them...
