The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins will meet Saturday in preseason action at Sun Life Stadium.
The Dallas Cowboys are winless in preseason football, as their most recent loss came against the Baltimore Ravens, 37,30. Tony Romo played for the first time, completing four of five passes for 80 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys had great success offensively as a team, throwing for 280 yards and three touchdowns, while the backfield averaged 4.5 yards per carry and scored a touchdown. Joseph Randle rushed for 41 yards on seven carries. Overall, the Cowboys offense played much better in their first preseason game, finishing with 397 yards and scoring at least one touchdown in three of four quarters. Defensively, the Cowboys allowed 331 yards and forced one turnover. Rolando McClain led the Dallas Cowboys with six tackles, while Zach Minter picked up two of the team’s three sacks.

The Miami Dolphins are 1-1 in preseason after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 20-14. Ryan Tannehill looked sharp once again, completing nine of 14 passes for 110 yards, while Matt Moore completed 13 passes on 19 attempts for 158 yards and a touchdown. The Dolphins passing offense has racked up more than 400 yards in the first two games, but Miami’s ground game averaged just 1.8 yards per carry against the Bucs. Damien Williams scored a touchdown but had just 20 yards on 11 carries. Overall, the Miami Dolphins finished the game with 326 yards and were 2-2 in the red zone. The Dolphins defense allowed 250 yards and forced two turnovers. Koa Misi led the Dolphins with six tackles, while the team produced five total sacks.
The Miami Dolphins have more quarterback depth and have been light years better than the Dallas Cowboys defensively so far. I like the Dolphins to win and cover the spread at home.
