The Denver Broncos dominated the San Francisco 49ers, 34-0, to improve to 2-0 in the preseason. Peyton Manning proved he’s in regular season mode by completing 12 of 14 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Backup Brock Osweiler wasn’t far behind with 10 completions for 105 yards and a touchdown. In fact, as a team the Denver Broncos completed 30 of 38 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns. C.J. Anderson led the Broncos with 29 rushing yards and scored the only rushing touchdown of the game. The Broncos finished the game with 357 yards and scored 17 points in the second half. Defensively, the Denver Broncos allowed 230 yards and forced four turnovers. Brandon Marshall, Charles Mitchell and Omar Bolden all tied with five tackles in the game.
A lot of these spreads are crazy because the starters are expected to see much of the playing time. I still don't get it considering it's still a preseason game no matter how you slice it. Teams are still looking to get better and not exactly win the matchup.
Give me the Houston Texans and the points, as you can't turn down a touchdown in a preseason game.
