NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Schedule and More
September 27, 2014
We’ve got just one more day to wait until the bulk of the NFL Week 4 games get going, and the anticipation is running high as usual. Before we dig in and pull out those hot wings for the big matchups tomorrow, let’s take our daily look around the league and see what’s happening out there. Here’s the latest.
The Steelers look like they’re pretty good to go for today’s home game against the incoming Buccaneers. The bad news is that they’re missing Ike Taylor and Ryan Shazier, but the good news is that Ramon Foster is the only other player who’s listed below probable status.

A handful of the important skill players for the Bills should be in action for tomorrow against the Texans. EJ Manuel, Sammy Watkins, Robert Woods and C.J. Spiller are all considered probable.
The Packers have to be pretty happy with the probable designations on their injury report. Bryan Bulaga, Davon House, Clay Matthews and Nick Perry are all likely to play. The lone questionable designations are Jarrett Boykin and Brad Jones.
The Packers are heading into a big road game against division rival Chicago.
Bad news on Chiefs running back Joe McKnight. He’s been diagnosed with a ruptured Achilles tendon. McKnight suffered the injury during Thursday’s practice session.
Atlanta WR Harry Douglas is questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Vikings. He’s currently fighting off a foot injury. He’s got 12 grabs for 121 yards and a touchdown in three games thus far.
The Dolphins have a few notable skill players on their injury report for tomorrow’s game in London against the Raiders. Running back Knowshon Moreno and center Mike Pouncey are both doubtful, with TE Charles Clay is questionable.
The ‘Phins need a strong showing abroad to get back in the AFC East hunt.
