The New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs will play Monday night.
The New England Patriots have been shaky out of the gate and very questionable offensively. Tom Brady is completing just 58.8 percent of his passes for three touchdowns and zero interceptions, while the Pats ground game is managing just 3.5 yards per carry. A lot of New England’s struggles are starting up front, as Brady has been sacked seven times and there’s very little holes for the running game, as Stevan Ridley is the only runner over 100 yards. The Patriots need to fix their offensive line and find more receiving weapons if this offense is going to improve. Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski are the only New England players with double-digit receptions. Defensively, the New England Patriots are allowing 272.7 yards per game and have forced eight turnovers and seven sacks. Jerod Mayo leads the Patriots with 30 tackles and Dont'a Hightower has 16 tackles and two sacks.

The Kansas City Chiefs are looking to build some momentum after picking up their first win over the Miami Dolphins. Knile Davis has really stepped it up in replace of Jamaal Charles, rushing for more than 200 yards and three touchdowns in his last two games. Charles is questionable for this matchup with an ankle injury. Much like the Patriots, the Chiefs offensive line is also struggling, allowing 11 sacks and opening up little holes in the running game. Quarterback Alex Smith is completing 62.7 percent of his passes for four touchdowns and three interceptions. Dwayne Bowe is somebody who Kansas City needs to step up, as the star receiver has just six receptions for 72 yards and zero touchdowns. Look for the Chiefs to target Bowe early in this game in hopes of getting him going. Defensively, the Kansas City Chiefs are allowing 354 yards and have forced zero turnovers and nine sacks. Josh Mauga leads the Chiefs with 19 tackles and Justin Houston has three sacks.
The Patriots are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Monday games. The Chiefs are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 home games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games in Week 4. The Patriots are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 meetings.
I really don't like the way the Patriots have opened the season up, as they're getting very little done offensively and are frustrated on both sides of the ball. Arrowhead Stadium is a very tough place to play and the Chiefs are better than what they've shown so far. Call me crazy, but I'm taking the points here, as I think KC has a chance to win SU.
