The Line: Tennessee Titans -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
Two of the Worst teams in the NFL face off on Sunday as the Tennessee Titans and the Jacksonville Jaguars face off in Nashville in an AFC South battle.
The Tennessee Titans have just one win thus far this season and have lost four games in a row. Last week the Titans looked like they were on their way to a win but they let the Cleveland Browns come back on them to get the win. QB Jake Locker is questionable with a hand injury and if he isn’t ready to go it will be Charlie Whitehurst who didn’t get it done in week 5. Shonn Greene is the Titans leading rusher but Bishop Sankey is pressing for playing time and Dexter McCluster is capable of producing a spark. Delanie Walker leads the Titans in receptions with 26 and Kendall Wright has 25 and they each have three touchdowns. Michael Griffin leads Tennessee’s defense with 37 tackles and two interceptions, Wesley Woodyard has 30 tackles, and Jason McCourty has 24 tackles and two interceptions. The Titans just looked lost last week in the second half against the Browns.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are still looking for their first win if the season and they have now lost eight games in a row dating back to last season. The Jaguars have made the move to go with rookie Blake Bortles and build for the future but he hasn’t looked like he did against the second and third stringers in preseason as he has struggled with three touchdowns and six interceptions despite completing 67 percent of his passes. The Jags rushing attack has been inept as well with Toby Gerhart averaging 2.6 yards per carry and Denard Robinson averaging 3.1 yards. Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns are the leading receivers for Jacksonville as Justin Blackmon is out for the season and Marquise Lee has missed the last three games with an injured hamstring. The Jaguars have a dreadful minus six turnover ratio with Paul Posluszny leading in tackles with 53, Andre branch having three sacks, and Alan Ball having the lone interception. The Jaguars bring the heat on the opposing QB’s but the quickest way to turn things around at any level of football is to turn around the turnover ratio.
Tennessee is 1-4-2 against the spread following a loss, 2-12-2 against the spread against the AFC South, and 0-7-1 against the spread in their last eight home games. Jacksonville is 6-19-1 against the spread in their last 26 games, 0-4 against the spread in their last four road games, and 0-5-1 against the spread against the AFC. Jacksonville is 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven games against Tennessee.
The line for this one isn’t out as of yet because of the status of Locker but I will update this with my free pick when the line is out so please check back.
