The Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers will play Monday night at Heinz Field.
The Houston Texans have lost three of their last four games but are still managing to hang around in the AFC South. The Texans offense has become the Arian Foster show, as he’s rushed for more than 100 yards in four of his five games and has scored four touchdowns in his last two games. The Texans have won 14 of their last 20 regular season games SU when Foster tops 100 rushing yards. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is completing 65 percent of his passes, but he’s thrown six interceptions to six touchdowns. Andre Johnson has just one touchdown reception, which is the same as defensive end J.J. Watt. DeAndre Hopkins has quickly become the main receiver for the Texans, as he has three touchdowns and four of his 25 receptions have gone for 20 or more yards. If the Texans are going to compete in their division, however, they’ll need more production offensively from other guys not named Foster. Defensively, the Houston Texans are allowing 20 points, 397.2 yards, and they’ve forced 14 turnovers and 10 sacks. Brian Cushing leads the Texans with 49 tackles and Whitney Mercilus has four tackles for loss.

The Pittsburgh Steelers return home after back-to-back road games and hope to find some consistency. Despite scoring just a combined 27 points in their last two games, the Steelers are moving the ball well. Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount have combined for more than 700 rushing yards and three touchdowns, giving the Steelers a ground game that’s averaging 4.9 yards per carry. Antonio Brown has caught five touchdown passes and 11 of his 41 receptions have produced 20 or more yards. Ben Roethlisberger is completing 65.3 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and three interceptions. Defensively, the Pittsburgh Steelers are allowing 23.2 points, 337 yards, and they’ve forced six turnovers and nine sacks. Lawrence Timmons leads the Steelers with 51 tackles and Cameron Heyward has three sacks.
The Texans are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 Monday games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Steelers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in October and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in Week 7.
I find it hard to trust either one of these teams because they're both underachieving. However, the Steelers have been playing a little worse than the Texans, and Houston has some guys who are starting to find their groove. Watt and Foster have the ability to take over games on the big stage. Give me Houston and the points in this toss up of a game.
