The Line: Philadelphia Eagles -6 -- Over/Under: 48 See the Latest Odds

The Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles play Monday night at Lincoln Financial Field

The Carolina Panthers have not won a game since week five and need a win here if they hope to stay in the NFC South race. Cam Newton is completing 57.4 percent of his passes for eight touchdowns and five interceptions. Newton has thrown a pick in five straight games and the Panthers are 10-10-1 in their last 21 games when he throws at least one interception. The Panthers have 28 passing plays of 20 or more yards and are averaging 11.9 yards per catch. Kelvin Benjamin and Greg Olson have combined for more than 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns while Jerricho Cotchery has 92 receiving yards in his last two games. The Panthers ground game is averaging 3.7 yards per carry and Jonathan Stewart leads the way with 263 rushing yards, but Carolina has produced just one 100-rushing-yard performance all season. Defensively, the Carolina Panthers are allowing 26.2 points, 378.1 yards, and they’ve forced 20 sacks and 16 turnovers. Luke Kuechly leads the Panthers with 97 tackles and Dwan Edwards has four sacks.

Eagles vs. Panthers - 11/10/14 NFL Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Philadelphia Eagles have won three of their last four games but are in a world of trouble due to injuries. Nick Foles is out for at least a month with a collarbone injury and leading tackler DeMeco Ryans is out for the season. Mark Sanchez will be the Eagles new quarterback, the former Jet who has played in just one game the last two seasons. The good news for the Eagles is that they have playmakers in Jeremy Maclin and Zach Ertz, a duo that has produced more than 1,100 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. The Eagles have 33 passing plays of 20 or more yards and are averaging 11.7 yards per catch. The Eagles ground game is averaging 4.3 yards per carry and LeSean McCoy, who leads Philly with 622 yards, should get a lot more touches with the QB situation being what it is at the moment. Defensively, the Philadelphia Eagles are allowing 22.1 points, 373.1 yards, and they’ve forced 23 sacks and 11 turnovers. Malcolm Jenkins has 37 tackles and Connor Barwin has seven sacks.

The Panthers are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in November. The Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 vs. NFC.

I'm not sure the Eagles quarterback situation is that big of a deal. Mark Sanchez is at his best when asked to be a game manager and that's what he'll be for the Eagles. Philly has so many offensive weapons that he won't have to do much. Just give the ball to McCoy, Maclin and others and let them go to work. The Panthers don't have the offensive firepower to keep up with the Eagles. Give me Philly by a touchdown.
