NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 11 Schedule and More

Week 10 is now officially all wrapped up in the NFL. As usual, we’ll have a couple of days’ worth of downtime before getting to the next round of games, so let’s take this time to check out some of the notable players and storylines out there across the league.

MNF Wrap-Up: It’s pretty fair to say the Panthers were dominated by the Eagles in virtually every phase of the game last night on “Monday Night Football.” Philly came away with a 45-21 victory that wasn’t even that close, as a couple of garbage-time scores helped Carolina cosmetically.
Mark Sanchez stepped in seamlessly for Nick Foles, tossing for 332 and a pair of touchdowns, while his counterpart Cam Newton accounted for four turnovers and was sacked nine times for a loss of 91 yards.
It looks like it’s going to be the Cowboys and Eagles down the stretch in the NFC East, and that should be very interesting to watch.

This week, Dolphins fans will want to keep an eye on the health of RB Lamar Miller. According to reports from sources close to the team, he didn’t further aggravate his shoulder injury as suspected during the loss to the Lions on Sunday. There was some concern there since Miller rushed just once in the second half.
Miller may end up limited in practice this week, which could affect his status for the Thursday game.

Texans CB Jonathan Joseph should be back in the mix heading into Week 11 against the Browns. He’s passed concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in Week 9.

The Giants definitely need some help at RB, and they could be getting it this week against the 49ers. The prospect of Rashad Jennings returning to the field seems to be pretty good, depending on what kind of practice time he can get in over the next few days.
Jennings sprained his MCL over a month ago and hasn’t been back on the field since.

The Vikings’ Kyle Rudolph looks to be on track to return from his sports hernia this week. He’s been out for the past six games following surgery, and was able to get in his first practice since the procedure during yesterday’s session. The Vikings play the Bears on Sunday.

Speaking of the Bears, let’s look at WR Brandon Marshall’s ankle injury. He had to come out of the blowout loss to the Packers during the fourth quarter after hurting himself, but the good news is that his condition doesn’t appear to be serious and he should be just fine for Week 11. That said, Marshall may not be able to practice much this week, if at all.
