NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Week 13 Schedule and More
November 26, 2014
We’ve got just one more day to wait until Thanksgiving, which will give us a tripleheader of NFL Week 13 action. In the meantime, there are plenty of running storylines to check up on, so let’s take our daily look around the league to see what everyone’s up to.
It’s looking like the Lions could be without a couple of linemen for tomorrow’s game against the Bears.
DT Nick Fairley wasn’t able to practice yesterday thanks to a knee injury, so he’ll be sitting out once again. He hasn’t played since Week 8.
Also, LT Riley Reiff, who is a starter, wasn’t able to practice either. He hurt his knee on the first play of Sunday’s loss to New England, so his status in today’s practice will go a long way in determining his availability.

In other Lions news, RB Reggie Bush is intent on playing in the Thanksgiving game. He’s missed four out of the last six contests due to his ankle injury and has been limited in practice this week. We’ll get a better feel for his status today.
The Cowboys’ Terrance Williams was limited in yesterday’s practice. He suffered a break in the tip of his index finger on Sunday against the Giants. There’s no word yet on whether or not he’ll be able to play against Philly.
Good news for the Steelers this morning. The team expects both Troy Polamalu and Ike Taylor to get back to the field for Sunday’s game against the Saints.
As for Ryan Shazier and Steve McLendon, we’ll have to see what they look like in practice this week.
It’s looking like the Broncos have had enough with their kicking situation. It was reported yesterday that the team would add Connor Barth to the lineup, replacing Brandon McManus, whom the team waived yesterday.
The Broncos weren’t too happy with McManus after he missed a 33-yard field goal against the Dolphins. That was his third missed kick of the season.
Barth is expected to make his debut against Kansas City this week.
