The Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Giants face off on Sunday in NFL action.
It has been another tough year for the Jacksonville Jaguars as they appear to be headed towards yet another top five draft choice. The Jaguars offense is averaging 14.6 points which ranks last in the NFL and 304.1 yards per game which ranks 31st as they are taking their lumps wit rookie QB Blake Bortles who has completed 62.6 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and 15 interceptions. Denard Robinson has rushed for 508 yards and four touchdowns and Allen Robinson has 48 catches. The Jaguars defense is allowing a NFL worst 27.7 points and 388.2 yars per game which ranks 30th and they are minus 10 in turnover ratio. Johnathan Cyprien has 75 tackles, Josh Evans has 58 tackles, and Telvin Smith has 53 tackles. The Jaguars just have too many holes to be competitive.

The New York Giants are having a horrible year by any standards but by their own standards it is even worse. The Giants offense is averaging 21.2 points and 348.9 yards per game and they are led by Eli Manning who has completed 62.3 percent of his passes with 21 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Rashad Jennings is the Giants leading rusher with 507 yards but Rueben Randle as 53 receptions. The Giants defense allows 26.7 points and a 31st ranked 396.5 yards per game and they are minus four in turnover ratio. Jameel McClain and Jacquian Williams each have 78 tackles and Antrel Rolle has 59 tackles. The Giants haven’t held up well in the second half of games.
Jacksonville is 16-36-1 against the spread in their last 53 home games, 1-3-1 against the spread against a team with a losing record, and 1-6-2 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread. New York is 5-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record, 1-4 against the spread in their last five road games, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six games overall. The Jaguars have covered the point spread in four of their last five games with the Giants.
The total is at 44 and while both offenses that have been bad, we have the two worst defenses in football so the over is the play all the way in this one.
