The Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants face off on Sunday in Nashville in a battle of two of the worst teams in the NFL this season.
The Tennessee Titans are 2-10 this season but with one of their wins coming in their opener they have lost 10 of their last 11 games. The Titans offense is 29th in the NFL in points per game at 17.8 and 27h I yards at 313.4 per game. The Titans seem to have no answers as last week both Zach Mettenberger and Jake Locker played QB as Mettenberger was injured and his status is day-to-day. Bishop Sankey leads the Tennessee rushing attack with 474 yards and Kendall Wright is the leading receiver with 51 catches and five touchdowns and Delanie Walker has 44 catches and four touchdowns. The Titans defense allows a NFL worst 28.2 points per game and a 30th ranked 385.2 yards per game and they are minus six in turnovers. Michael Griffin has 86 tackles, Wesley Woodyard has 73 tackles, and Jason McCourty has 65 tackles. The Titans look like they will have a chance to get some help in the upcoming NFL draft as they will be picking in the top 10.

The New York Giants have one of the worst record in the NFL and are in last place in the NFC East. The Giants are coming off of a terrible loss blowing a huge lead to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Giants offense is averaging 21.4 points and 347.2 yards per game and they are led by Eli Manningwho has completed 63 percent of his passes with 22 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Rashad Jennings is New York’s leading rusher with 598 yards and four touchdowns and Rueben Randle has 56 catches and two touchdowns, Larry Donnell has 51 catches and six touchdowns, and Odell Beckham has 48 catches and five touchdowns. The Giants defense is allowing 26.6 points per game and 385 yards and they are minus seven in turnover ratio. Jameel McClain has 87 tackles, Jacquin Williams has 78 tackles, and Antrel Rolle has 66 tackles. The Giants look to be far removed from their Super Bowl winners.
Tennessee is 5-15-2 against the spread in their last 22 games, 1-6-2 against the spread against a team with a losing record, and 1-9-1 against the spread in their last 11 home games. New York is 1-4 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the spread, 1-5 against the spread following a loss, and 0-4 against the spread in their last four road games. The Giants haven’t covered the point spread in their last four meetings with the Titans.
We have two bad teams here an that means a lot of inconsistency but I still see these as teams who are best at beating themselves. Because of the Titans issues at QB I give the Giants the nod here but I am not touching this one.
