NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Off-Season Schedule and More
March 15, 2015
We’re still not quite a week into the new NFL season, but we’ve already seen plenty of interesting things happen across the league. We’ve got our usual roundup of interesting developments for you this morning, so let’s check out what’s happening out there right now.
The Cowboys picked up CB Corey White last night after he was dropped by the Saints.
White is a three-year NFL vet and has 125 total tackles in that span.

Speaking of cornerbacks, the 49ers inked CB Chris Cook to a one-year deal yesterday. He played in six games for San Francisco last year and four games for the Vikings.
WR Dwayne Bowe is going to be visiting the Browns, according to a source close to the situation.
Bowe was cut by the Chiefs this off-season, mostly for salary cap purposes. He failed to get into the end zone in 2014, the first time in his career that’s happened. Bowe is a free agent.
CB Perrish Cox agreed to a deal with the Titans yesterday. He’ll get three years and $15 million from Tennessee.
Cox has been in Denver, Seattle and San Francisco since entering the league in 2012. He’s 28 years old.
Veteran WR Greg Jennings is looking for a new home today after being released by the Vikings yesterday. This move comes after the team traded for Mike Wallace with the Dolphins.
Jennings played in Green Bay for a half-dozen years before heading to the Vikings. He’s 31 years old.
One other big free agent domino fell yesterday, with Reggie Bush signing in San Francisco.
There seemed to be a chance of a New Orleans reunion later in the week, but it wasn’t to be as the team signed C.J. Spiller. He’ll join up with Kendall Hunter and Carlos Hyde with the Niners.
