We’re finishing up the weekend, and even though it’s a Sunday, the NFL news is still trickling in. Let’s check out the latest headlines out there and see what some of the notable players from around the league are up to right now.

Kevin Vickerson decided on a new team this weekend. He’ll be headed to New York to join up with the Jets.
Vickerson, who is a DL, posted nine tackles last season with the Chiefs. He’s been in the NFL for eight years and is 32 years old.

The soap opera between Adrian Peterson and the Vikings continued this weekend as some news tidbits trickled out. The team reportedly wants him to remain a Viking, however the embattled veteran RB would like to get out of town.
Peterson’s camp reportedly denied a request for a meeting with the Vikings’ GM Rick Spielman, as Peterson and his handlers want a trade or more guaranteed money coming his way.
Peterson is scheduled to earn $13 million this upcoming season. He’s under contract through 2017. There’s a chance we could see a trade--the Cardinals for one have shown interest--but we won’t know anything for a while it appears.

Good news for Dolphins fans. Safety Louis Delmas is reportedly ahead of schedule in his return from a torn ACL and should be ready to go by the time this season rolls around.
Delmas is on a one-year, $3.5 million deal in Miami.

Longtime Steeler RB James Harrison will most likely be coming back for at least one more year, but we don’t know yet what uniform he’ll be wearing.
Harrison is reportedly trying to decide between returning to Pittsburgh or packing up and heading west to Tennessee and the Titans, where he would reunite with former Steelers defensive coordinator and current Titans assistant head coach Dick LeBeau.
Harrison has been in the NFL for 11 years, compiling totals of 692 tackles, 71.5 sacks and 29 forced fumbles.
