We’re creeping steadily toward the 2015 NFL draft, which will take place in just 23 days. In the meantime, let’s take our daily look at the headlines and see who’s in the news this morning. Here’s a look at what’s happening out there.

The Dolphins and Michael Crabtree were reportedly pretty far away from each other in their recent contract negotiations. Miami wanted to pay him around $3 million in yearly salary, but Crabtree wants to get in excess of $4.5 million.
Crabtree visited the Raiders yesterday. We’ll have to wait and see if Oakland is willing to shell out the kind of money he’s looking for.

It’s looking like free agent WR Denarius Moore has a new home. He’ll be inking a one-year deal with the Bengals, according to sources close to the situation.
Moore also got some interest from the Jets, but decided to go to Cincinnati to reunite with current OC Hue Jackson.
Moore is coming off a 12-catch, 115-yard season (10 games) with Oakland.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is going to be meeting with the NFL this week in order to discuss his potential reinstatement. His eligibility begins on April 15.
Peterson is still under contract in Minnesota, but it seems like he’s itching to get out of there and make a fresh start with another team.

The Jaguars have put TE Marcedes Lewis on the trading block, according to reports out of Jacksonville. He’s been on the team since 2006.
Lewis carries a $6.65 million base salary this year, which will hamper the Jags’ options when it comes to trading him.

The Jets have themselves a bit of an issue when it comes to DL Muhammad Wilkerson. He’s skipping the voluntary off-season workout programs.
Wilkerson is heading into the final year of his deal, where he’s set to make about $7 million. We’ll see if the team increases their efforts to extend him between now and the mandatory camp in June.
