Position: Wide Receiver
Career Stats: 270 receptions, 3,830 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns.
Strengths: Rashad Greene has good foot quickness and appears a little faster than what his 4.53 40-time showed at the NFL combine. Greene is a versatile receiver who is capable of playing in the slot or on the outside. Greene does a good job of making contested catches and knows where he is at on the field at all times. Greene is a solid route runner and doesn’t waste much motion. Rashad Greene has no off-the-field concerns that we know of and is one of the more competitive receivers you’re going to find in this draft. Greene is a quiet leader, doesn’t take plays off and is willing to put in the work to improve his game.
Weaknesses: Rashad Greene is a small receiver who plays small. Greene’s thin frame also doesn’t allow him to be an effective blocker. Greene can get bullied at the line of scrimmage by bigger corners and will occasionally allow defenders to take the ball away from him. Rashad Greene’s father is doing 30 years in prison due to cocaine charges.
Projection: Rashad Greene is one of those names who has kind of taking a back seat to the other receivers, but he has the potential to be a big time steal. Greene played his best in the bigger games at FSU and never backed down from competition. He runs routes well and can make plays in traffic. Greene will be able to contribute right away and should carve out a decent career at the next level.
