We’ve finished up another NFL off-season weekend, and the news keeps trickling in ahead of the 2015 draft, which is just 17 days away. In the meantime, let’s check in on some of the latest headlines out there.

Over the weekend, the Broncos inked FA tight end (and also fullback) James Casey to a one-year deal.
Casey will reunite with Gary Kubiak, with whom he spent his first four years in the NFL with down in Houston.

Another bit of weekend news that’s worth noting, as we haven’t talked about ol’ Johnny Football in a while. Browns QB Johnny Manziel was released from a rehab treatment facility over the weekend after undergoing treatment for over 10 weeks.
Manziel entered the clinic with undisclosed issues, though many have speculated his stay could have been linked to his alcohol abuse problems.
Manziel is fully expected to take part in Cleveland’s off-season workouts beginning April 20.

The Jets will be exercising the fifth-year option on LB Quinton Coples, according to sources close to the team.
Coples will get $7.8 million this year after recording 6 ½ sacks in 2014.

The Packers may or may not be matching the Raiders’ offer sheet for safety Sean Richardson today, which is the deadline to do so. Richardson received a one-year $2.55 million offer from Oakland, which he signed.
Green Bay is reportedly at coin-flip odds as to whether they’ll match.

San Francisco RB Kendall Hunter is eight months removed from an ACL tear and is at the point in his rehab where he’s running again.
Hunter has been working out with the team recently, which is a good sign for his status in 2015.
