USA TODAY Sports
Position: Wide Receiver
Career Stats: 283 receptions, 3,641 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns.
Strengths: Jamison Crowder is an extremely quick receiver with great feet and uses them to create separation. Crowder may not have elite top end speed, but he certainly looks faster than the 4.56 he ran at the NFL combine. Crowder is quick off the line and can make defensive backs look foolish on the double move. Jamison Crowder was a captain at Duke, a leader on and off the field and comes with zero baggage. Crowder also has experience on special teams and could be a home run hitter there as well. Despite his small frame, Crowder has no history of injury issues. Crowder is willing to block and is the ultimate team guy.
Weaknesses: Jamison Crowder is one of the smaller receivers in this draft and can be controlled by physical and bigger defensive backs. Crowder also needs to show more in his route tree, as a lot of his passes were quick hitters.
Projection: Jamison Crowder is pretty much what you see. He’s a small receiver with slightly above-average speed but great quickness and playmaking ability. There’s a place for Crowder on an NFL team, and he’ll get picked up in the later rounds.
