Position: Running Back
Career Stats: 577 rushing attempts, 2,967 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns.
Strengths: Jeremy Langford has a little playmaking ability to him, as he’s capable of bouncing it to the outside and making guys miss in the open field. Langford is a solid blocker and doesn’t shy from contact. Langford has solid field vision and great patience, as he picks his spots and waits for blocks to develop. Jeremy Langford is a hard worker and a team player with zero off-the-field issues. Langford also has experience playing wide receiver and cornerback, racking up 39 receptions in his last two seasons. Langford has good size and has the ability to add even more healthy weight.
Weaknesses: Jeremy Langford isn’t much of a power back despite his solid frame and he doesn’t break many tackles. Langford can sometimes take a while to get to his full acceleration. Langford also has a lot of wear and tear on his body, as he racked up more than 500 carries in his last two seasons with MSU.
Projection: Jeremy Langford doesn’t play with enough toughness to probably be a starting running back. However, Langford blocks well, can break off some big runs and is capable of handling 20-plus touches in any given game. Langford is a decent pick in the later rounds and could carve out a solid career as a backup or third down back.
