NFL Updates: News From Around the League, Off-Season Schedule and More
April 23, 2015
We’re getting down to the wire now, with just one short week left until the 2015 NFL Draft. There’s plenty to go over between now and then, so with that said let’s take our daily look at the headlines.
Some new info came out yesterday concerning the ever-popular Tim Tebow’s contract with his new team in Philadelphia.
Tebow will get no guaranteed money and inked a veteran-minimum deal worth $660,000. If he is cut, the team doesn’t owe him anything, but if he makes the roster he’ll get a little north of $38,000 per week.
Tebow last played in the NFL during 2012 as a vastly underused member of the Jets.

It looks like Seahawks DE Michael Bennett is expressing his dissatisfaction with his contract by skipping out on the team’s voluntary strength and conditioning workouts this week.
Bennett is currently in the second year of his $28.5 million deal lasting four years. He’s reportedly looking to renegotiate that deal.
The Raiders are moving Taiwan Jones to the running back position, according to sources close to the team.
Jones has spent the last two years as a cornerback after getting drafted as an RB in 2011. He missed out on 15 games last season due to a foot injury.
It seems veteran wide receiver Greg Jennings has a new home in Miami. According to reports, he inked a two-year deal with the Dolphins yesterday. The new contract is worth $8 million.
Jennings had been discussing a potential deal with several teams over the past few weeks, including the Saints, Panthers and Jaguars.
