With just three days left until the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft, there’s a lot to talk about among football fans. While we’re getting set for the big day, let’s take a look at some of the notable things in the headlines as we come out of the weekend.

What are the chances that the Cardinals’ Larry Foote plays in 2015? It’s a coin flip.
Foote says he hasn’t ruled out the chance that he’ll return to the NFL this year, but it’s 50-50 whether or not he’ll be back.
He’s got a few factors weighing on his decision, including this year’s draft and the team’s injury situation heading into the year--as well as his own health.
If Foote doesn’t end up playing, he’ll likely take the job as the Cardinals’ LB coach.

The Panthers picked up LB Luke Kuechly’s fifth-year option this weekend. He’s been in two Pro Bowls in his NFL tenure and has led the league in tackles for two of his three seasons.
Kuechly got the NFL DPOY award in 2013 and has 473 tackles since the 2012 season. That’s the most in the league.

It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on the Ravens’ Dennis Pitta, so let’s check out his status and see how he’s doing.
Pitta is hopeful for a return to the field in 2015, however we won’t be able to tell anything for sure at this point. He’s had hip injuries (fracture and dislocation) in each of the last two seasons. He’s been in only seven games over the past two years.

Let’s head on over to Philadelphia and check out the latest Tim Tebow news. According to Eagles QB Mark Sanchez (who was a former teammate of Tebow in New York), the Eagles simply brought in Tebow to throw during camp.
Philly is still waiting on Sam Bradford to get healthy, so the line of thought makes sense. Tebow hasn’t played in the NFL since 2012.
