We’ve got lots of NFL training camp action to look forward to this week, so with that in mind let’s check out some of the notable players and situations out there that everyone’s talking about right now.

Let’s kick things off today by checking in on Ravens WR Breshad Perriman. Yesterday we learned that he could conceivably be out for another week following a knee bruise he sustained in practice last week.
Perriman has been out of action since the injury, so Ravens fans will want to keep an eye on him when he gets back.

It’s looking like we have something of a target date for the return of the Texans’ Jadeveon Clowney. The team announced yesterday that they’re eyeing the middle of this month for the second-year man.
Clowney’s on the PUP list right now, but if all goes well, he’ll be back in the fold around August 17th. He’s coming off an injury-shortened season (knee) during which he only played in four games.

The Dolphins’ Kenny Stills is suffering from a calf injury. He was practicing yesterday, but was limited due to the issue.
Stills has reportedly been dealing with his calf injury since last month, which could mean that it’s something of a nagging condition.

The Colts’ Vick Ballard was able to practice in full yesterday, and afterward declared himself 100 percent healthy following his knee and Achilles injuries.
Ballard played in just one game during 2013 before injuring his knee, then was out during 2014 due to an Achilles injury. We’ll see if he can last the whole season this year.

The Eagles announced that QB Sam Bradford would be starting the first preseason game, which really isn’t much of a surprise.
Bradford has been cleared for full responsibilities in practice and won’t be wearing a brace. He’s coming off two ACL tears over the last pair of seasons.
