The Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs play a Friday preseason game at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Tennessee Titans are 1-1 in preseason play and are coming off a win over the St. Louis Rams. Marcus Mariota has thrown 16 passes and has yet to find the end zone, but he’s sure to get majority of the reps in this game as he prepares for the regular season opener. Backups Alex Tanney and Zach Mettenberger have combined for three touchdown passes. Rookie running back David Cobb leads Tennessee with 98 rushing yards and Chase Coffman has 117 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, the Titans have come away with two sacks and have allowed 45 points in two games. Cody Riggs has racked up six tackles, Yawin Smallwood has two pass deflections and Karl Klug has a sack.

The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a 2-0 start and are coming off a win over the Seattle Seahawks. Chase Daniel has thrown four touchdowns and has solidified the backup the job, while Alex Smith has thrown 28 passes and should see a ton of playing time in this matchup. The Chiefs are one of only a few teams that have both their starting and backup QB jobs decided, especially with the injury to Tyler Bray. Charcandrick West leads Kansas City with 89 rushing yards and Frankie Hammond has racked up 65 receiving yards. Defensively, the Chiefs have come away with two sacks and have allowed 12 second half points. Ramik Wilson has produced 10 tackles, Daniel Sorensen has a sack and Marcus Peters has a pass deflection.
The Titans are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 15-33-4 ATS in their last 52 games overall. The Chiefs are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 vs. AFC. The Titans are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Kansas City.
The Chiefs have gotten solid play out of both of their quarterbacks this preseason. The Titans are going to give their rookie starter a lot of reps in this game, which means I expect a mistake or two. I'll take KC and the reasonable chalk here.
