The Carolina Panthers can really make a statement with a fast 3-0 start. Cam Newton is completing 52.9 percent of his passes for 370 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Newton has a touchdown pass in eight straight games. Ted Ginn Jr. and Greg Olsen have combined for more than 170 receiving yards and one touchdown while Corey Brown has five receptions. The Carolina Panthers ground game is averaging 138.5 yards per contest, and Jonathan Stewart leads the way with 118 yards on 35 carries. Defensively, Carolina is allowing 13 points and 282.5 yards per game. Thomas Davis leads the Panthers with 16 tackles, Mario Addison has two sacks and Josh Norman has an interception. Jerricho Cotchery, Luke Kuechly and Star Lotulelei are questionable with injuries.
The Saints are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games in Week 3 and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Panthers are 12-5-1 ATS in their last 18 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Saints are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 meetings in Carolina and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 meetings overall.
The Saints weren't winning games with Brees at quarterback, not sure how they win this on the road with Luke McCown. I don't love the pick, but I expect the Panthers to win this by double digits.
